Venue Description:
Restored to its former glory, the magnificent Banking Hall serves as the signature feature of our hotel. Dating from 1863, it has an ornate ceiling, original hand-carved pediment over the entrance, and four chandeliers crafted from 8,000 pieces of Egyptian crystal. The room, which has its own separate entrance from College Green, can seat up to 250 people theatre-style and up to 170 for a gala dinner. This historic landmark has been fitted with state-of-the art audiovisual equipment built specifically for the room.
The reserve area adjacent to The Banking Hall was originally the Royal Irish Constabulary Station. Now it serves as a pre-function room for drinks, receptions, and a breakout area for tea, coffee, and lunches. Also on the ground floor, The Teller Room, which was once the bank manager's office, is a unique circular room ideal for a conference organiser's base or as a more intimate meeting space.
The Mezzanine level offers an additional six elegant meeting rooms all named after old Irish coins. Each room features natural daylight, individual temperature control, and sophisticated modern technology including wireless High Speed Internet Access.
The multifunctional meeting rooms cater to a variety of capacities and set-ups. Our experienced conference and banqueting team are on hand to ensure smooth and personalized service.

Located on the ground floor of the hotel, The Exchange Restaurant features an art deco design with natural lighting, intimate corners, and impeccable service. Enjoy brasserie-style dining and a stylish menu highlighted by the freshest Irish ingredients and a delicious blend of local, regional, and international fare. Additionally, the renowned Jazz Sunday Brunch is not to be missed.
The Atrium lounge is an inspirational haven with its five-story glass ceiling, allowing you to sit beneath clear skies by day and a canopy of stars at night. The large palm tree and replica balconies give the impression of sitting in a Georgian courtyard, a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Relax and enjoy a traditional afternoon tea or sample any of the items from the all-day food menu available into the evening seven days a week.
The Mint bar has turned the former bank vaults into one of Dublin's favourite meeting places. The welcoming atmosphere, a great pint of Guinness, and an extensive cocktail list make it popular with locals and guests alike.
