Getting here

Kall is in the county of Jämtland, at the heart of Sweden. The closest village is Järpen, the closest city is Östersund, and Scandinavia´s biggest ski resort, Åre, is close by.

You can get here by road, rail or air. It is even possible to land a helicopter at the hotel, or with a private plane at Molanda, by our driving circuit.

The lodge is located in the middle of Sweden, one hour from the airport and close to Scandinavia’s most famous ski resort, Åre.

Ice Driving Xperience

IDX is an adrenaline-filled driving experience; a driver training course on an ice circuit, using Porsche 911, VW Golf R and VW Passat CC cars. IDX begins with a safety review in which we go through the vehicles’ safety systems and functions. The various driving exercises start on the ice circuit, e.g. braking and evasion manoeuvres, slalom, handling and being a passenger. You will safely learn what the limits are and be many useful experiences the richer, which you can then take with you to your everyday driving.

Race Driving Xperience

Description: Race Driving Xperience (RDX) is an adrenaline-filled driving experience and driver training course on an asphalt circuit, using Porsche 911 and Porsche Cayenne cars.

The aim of the course is to make you a safer and better driver by teaching you how to handle powerful event cars in different situations and at a range of speeds.

: The relaxation area has a sauna, outdoor Jacuzzi and sundeck, as well as panoramic views of Åreskutan.

Restaurant, The Local

Our gourmet bistro, The Local, is itself worth a visit. It offers modern rustic cuisine using locally-produced ingredients in harmony with nature. We are members of Fjällbete, which means we can guarantee top quality meat from healthy animals.

Head chef Jonas Landmark has many years’ experience, including both high class restaurants and large event catering. For example, Jonas was one of the kitchen staff for the recent royal wedding, he has worked with the Volvo Ocean Race and in the Swedish Pavilion at the World Expo in Shanghai.

Kall Auto Lodge has 41 rooms with views of Åreskutan and Lake Kallsjön. All the rooms are equipped with comfortable beds, smart bathrooms, plasma televisions and wireless internet.

Snow mobile safari

From short trips for beginners to long day trips with lunch in the mountains – you choose. It’s possible to finish your snowmobile safari at a rustic hunting cabin where dinner is prepared by our chefs over an open fire, with outdoor hot tubs and a sauna for wonderful après safari.

Hunting and fishing

Fishing and game bird hunting in beautiful Kall. There are many excellent waters to choose from, both those that are accessible and those in roadless country. You won’t be disappointed. All hunting and fishing packages are tailor-made to provide you with the ultimate experience and are held using experienced guides.
