Millennium Gloucester Hotel & Conference Centre

Venue Description:

Built in 1997, the Millennium Conference Centre is ideally located between the Millennium Gloucester and Millennium Baileys Hotels. It was last refurbished in September 2006 at a cost of 3 million pounds. Our venue offers a choice of 25 versatile Conferencing and Banqueting suites, suitable for both business and social functions and capable of accommodating 2 to 500 delegates. In total 17,000 sq ft has been refurbished to provide total flexibility along with state-of-the-art technical equipment including 10 Mb SDSL broadband, Wifi, screening facilities and intelligent lighting. The hotel has a full Civil Wedding Ceremony License for all of its rooms. AV equipment is also available for hire and our dedicated staff will be on-hand for your event. We have partnered with Award Winning audio-visual company AV Projections Ltd to give you unlimited access to the latest in conference and events technology.

Among our meeting rooms, the Conservatory is a truly stunning glass room, whose beauty is further enhanced by its splendidly up-lit palm trees. It is ideal for parties, receptions, private dining, wedding ceremonies and exhibitions.

The Orchard Suite, with its 500-seat maximum capacity and 21-foot-high, fully-wired, weight-stressed ceiling, creates a blank canvas, where even the most creative of event ideas is possible.

For smaller events, we have several boardrooms to choose from. They offer the latest in AV technology including 10Mb uncontested SDSL broadband, Wi-Fi with Ethernet ports, VDUs and screening facilities.

The Millennium Conference Centre is less than a minute’s walk from Gloucester Road underground station. The underground station connects 3 major lines including Piccadilly, Circle and District providing great transport links to the rest of London. It is also conveniently located close to two of London’s top exhibition centres: Olympia and Earls Court. Adjacent to the Millennium Gloucester Hotel, the conference centre is well situated for many of London’s greatest attractions including The Natural History, Science and Victoria & Albert Museums, Hyde Park, the Royal Albert Hall, Kensington Palace & Gardens and shopping on the King’s Road, High Street Kensington and Knightsbridge.

Orchard Suite
This highly-engineered suite is ‘fitted for’ rather than ‘fitted with’ equipment. Great emphasis has been placed on putting power where it is needed, taking advantage of the latest technology. The flexibility of the Orchard Suite’s plug-and-play technology and a 21-foot-high, fully-wired, weight-stressed ceiling, creates a blank canvass, where even the most creative of event ideas is possible. Even at its 500-seat maximum capacity, the Orchard Suite delivers the immaculate sound and visual clarity envied by stand-alone convention centres.

 

The Orchard Suite can be divided neatly, with a sliding partition, into two well-equipped rooms; you can use half for a smaller event and get your own private pre-function space next door.

 

 

Sentosa Suite
Where one room can become nine, nine rooms can become four or two or any number of useful configurations between. When the room is subdivided, each unit is totally self-contained and effectively sound proofed up to 65 decibels. Syndicate and breakout meetings of almost any combination of number and capacity can be accommodated with this build-to-order arrangement.

 

When used in conjunction with the Orchard Suite, the flexibility of Sentosa is enriched with additional space.

This suite is perfect for wedding receptions, private and corporate parties, conferences and conventions with multiple breakout rooms. Its pre-function area is perfect for Champagne receptions, delegate registration, tea and coffee breaks for day meetings and events.

 

 

Cromwell Suite
With its chandeliers and vaulted ceiling this stylish room is a favourite setting for private dinners of up to 250, but can also comfortably accommodate up to 350 delegates for a theatre-style presentation. Effective partitioning also means you can break the room into four smaller meeting rooms. Cromwell 5 can also be combined with the main rooms and used as a pre-function area for welcome drinks, delegate registration and tea & coffee breaks.

 

This suite is ideal for weddings, parties, conferences and conventions.

 

 

Conservatory
The Conservatory is a truly stunning glass room at the vibrant heart of the Millennium Conference Centre.

Striking and stylish, elegant and ornate; just a glance at the Conservatory makes a big impression. The beauty of this magnificent glass structure is further enhanced by its splendidly up-lit palm trees that create a new definition of chic.

 

By day it’s a charming and relaxed setting for hospitality and lunches, at night, a sparkling gem. This jewel in the crown is ideal for parties, receptions, private dining, wedding ceremonies and exhibitions.

 

 


Kensington Suite

The Kensington Suite is a discreet and versatile meeting space perfectly suited to a number of event styles. This spacious, naturally-lit room seats 150 theatre style and can be subdivided to create two separate rooms, each with separate entrances.

 

This suite is ideal for intimate weddings, private and corporate parties and smaller meetings in classroom or theatre style.
